Position Overview
We are hiring a Blast Truck Driver / Helper to work closely with a Class 1 Blaster supporting daily blasting operations. This is a hands-on role requiring driving, labour work, and strong attention to safety and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with a Class 1 Blaster on active job sites
- Assist with blast truck operation and setup
- Perform general construction labour duties
- Load, unload, and organize blasting materials and equipment
- Maintain and track inventory of tools and materials
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
- Assist with site prep and cleanup
Requirements:
- Must be 25+ years old
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Clean background check required
- Physically fit and capable of labour-intensive work
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong organizational skills
- Construction or blasting experience is an asset
