Job Title: Building Designer and Architectural Technologist

Location: 1317 Fairfield Rd, Cobble Hill, BC.

Terms: Full time Monday to Friday 7am – 3:30pm (hourly pay)

Salary/rate: TBD (starting salary ranges from $28 - $35/hour based on experience).

Responsibilities:

- Design work resulting in permit-ready drawing packages for clients that can be used for permit application.
- Actively communicating with clients and involving them in the design process.
- Fabrication of full drawing packages including, but not limited to: Floor plans, elevations, sections, as-built drawings (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical), site plans, 3D renderings.

Job qualifications:

- Drafting skills – Revit and AutoCad (if other explain why)
- Sketchup Modeling Skills – for quick modeling or rendering purposes.
- Rendering Skills – Twinmotion, Lumion, Enscape, or other




- Communication Skills – Communication with client, trades, and team.
- In-depth knowledge of British Columbia Building Code (BCBC)
- Bonus - In-depth knowledge of zoning requirements for Vancouver Island and Gulf Island municipalities.
- Bonus - Steel framing Software knowledge or Scotsteel Framing experience (not required)
