Building Technicians
As a Building Technician with JLL, you will be the cornerstone of our service delivery. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will take ownership of the building’s operational health, blending hands‑on technical expertise with critical coordination duties. Perform hands‑on maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Manage and execute the site's Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule for all critical equipment and assets. Coordinate and oversee the work of third‑party vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and project work. Conduct regular site inspections and champion health & safety protocols, ensuring a secure and compliant environment.
Manage inventory of essential spare parts, tools, and supplies, and raise purchase orders as needed. Assist with small‑scale site projects, office moves, and facility improvements from planning to completion. 3‑5 years of direct experience in building maintenance, with strong skills in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
~ A technical diploma or degree in a related discipline (e.g., Building Systems, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology). ~ Demonstrated proficiency using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. ~ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer‑centric approach. ~ Experience working within a high‑profile corporate or client‑facing facility. Proven ability to assist in the coordination of small projects or office reconfigurations.

Experience deputizing or providing cover for a facility manager or team lead. 75,100.00 – 93,900.00 CAD per year This range represents the estimated base salary and actual compensation may differ. Some roles and employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, benefits, or other compensation.
