Project

Coordinator / Business Analyst, Operations NPI L3HARRIS WESCAM's Operations NPI team is looking for a highly motivated individual to support the planning, execution, and successful launch of New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. This role combines project coordination, business analysis, operational reporting, and continuous improvement responsibilities to support strategic initiatives across the product introduction lifecycle. This individual will play a hands-on role working with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Planning, and Operations to coordinate project activities, support production readiness, analyze operational data, and drive visibility into program execution.

As part of this role, you will become a key contributor to the Operations NPI Project Engineering organization by supporting project governance, production build execution, business process improvements, and management reporting. This position will allow you to continue developing your Project Management, Business Analytics, and Operational Excellence skills while supporting the successful launch of new products into production. Support planning, coordination, and execution of Recent Product Introduction (NPI) projects and strategic Operations initiatives.

Maintain project schedules, milestone trackers, risk registers, action logs, decision logs, and project documentation. Coordinate project meetings, readiness reviews, stage-gate reviews, and stakeholder workshops. Develop and distribute project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level reporting packages.





Provide project coordination support for prototype, qualification, pilot, and production launch builds. Track production readiness activities and communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and recovery actions. Support project governance processes and ensure timely follow-up and closure of action items.

Administer and maintain project workflows, tasks, risks, issues, and status reporting within Jira. Create and maintain project documentation, meeting records, decision logs, and knowledge repositories within Confluence. Compile, analyze, and generate recurring and ad hoc reports on project and operational performance metrics.

Create project business cases and support project planning activities by helping define scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables. Lead or participate in workshops to gather requirements and convert them into business processes, use cases, reporting requirements, training instructions, and departmental practices. Support implementation of process improvements, reporting enhancements, and operational excellence initiatives.

Support reporting automation and continuous improvement of project management and reporting tools. Develop strong working relationships with Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, and Operations teams. Provide status reports and project updates to management and key stakeholders as required.

Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools with an emphasis on Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Visio. Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence for project tracking, workflow management, reporting, and collaboration.

Experience creating dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level reporting.



Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights. Excellent organizational, planning, and project coordination skills.

Excellent technical communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment. Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.

Lean Six

Sigma or continuous improvement experience considered an asset.

Experience within aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, or technology environments considered an asset. Understanding of AS9100, ISO9001, or other regulated industry standards is considered an asset. CAPM, Agile, Business Analysis, or Project Management certifications are considered assets.

Accurate and timely project status reporting. Effective coordination of NPI projects and production build activities. High-quality analytics and reporting that support leadership decision-making. Strong project governance, action management, and documentation discipline.

Identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities. Effective utilization of Jira, Confluence, Power BI, and related tools to improve program visibility and execution. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
