Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | 5-Days On-Site

Kelly Services is currently hiring a Buyer for our client, a growing North American company specializing in engineered packaging solutions.

About the Role The Buyer will be responsible for managing the purchasing process from start to finish, ensuring materials and services are sourced at the right quality, price, and timing to support production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research, source, and purchase materials and products.
- Create and manage purchase orders from start to finish.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and production requirements.
- Coordinate transportation and track orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding quality, pricing, and delivery issues.
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Work closely with inventory, production, management, and project teams.
- Support purchasing process improvements and provide estimating support as required.

What We're Looking For:

- Minimum 3 years of purchasing/buying experience specifically within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience purchasing materials, components, or products required for manufacturing/production.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- College/university diploma or degree in a related field.
- Experience negotiating pricing and supplier terms.
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.




- Proficient with Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.

Compensation & Perks:

- $70,000–$80,000 annual salary
