Program Summary

Since 1984, The 416 Community Support for Women (The 416) has provided a safe and supportive environment for women (cis and transgender) who are experiencing or are at‑risk of experiencing homelessness, and/or are facing mental health and substance use challenges. Our team works primarily with women living with unmet needs due to their complex challenges.

LOFT Community Services, 416 program together with the Province of Ontario’s Justice Centres, present an exciting opportunity for an experienced Case Manager in Toronto’s first of its kind, community court model, the Toronto Downtown East Justice Centre (DTE-JC).

Justice Centres are an innovative court model that integrate early supports into the justice process by bringing together justice, health, employment, education, and social services to address the root causes of crime, break the cycle of offending, and improve public safety and community well‑being.

The Toronto Downtown East Justice

Centre focuses on breaking the cycle of offending by addressing the root causes of crime for accused at the intersection of poverty, homelessness, mental health and addictions challenges.
