Join Biggar & District Health Centre as a Casual Emergency Medical Technician and make a difference in emergency response. This role is integral to delivering timely medical care in urgent situations. You will be part of the Ambulance - Land department, responding to various emergencies and supporting patient assessment and transportation.
Applicants must have a Primary Care Paramedic Certificate and valid certifications in CPR, BLS, and ITLS. Operate effectively under the Saskatchewan Ambulance Act while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate assessment and treatment for patients
- Transport injured or ill individuals securely
- Ensure compliance with operating protocols
- Work effectively both independently and in a team
- Adapt to changing and high-stress situations Requirements:
- Primary Care Paramedic Certificate essential
- Must hold a valid Class 4 driver's license
- Current certifications in CPR, BLS, and ITLS required
- Robust communication and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm in emergencies Utilize your clinical judgment and emergency care skills to assist your community as a valued Emergency Medical Technician.
