Residential Child and Youth Care Worker – Maple Ridge Work Available

The Opportunity

The Ridge Meadows Association for Community Living is currently accepting applications for a Residential Child and Youth Worker in one of its Staffed Children’s Residential Group Homes

To provide support and care to Children and youth in a staffed residential resource.

Position Classification: Residential Child & Youth Worker - Grid Level 11 - BCGEU Collective Agreement. Wage rate - $29.22 - $33.54

Abundance of local work available, prospect to work part-time and full-time available. For applicable positions, RMACL offers a comprehensive health and welfare benefit package, Municipal Pension Plan, vacation and sick leave.

Qualifications





A diploma or certificate and/or experience in a field related to supporting children with developmental disabilities is required

Specific Requirements

Successful candidates must have or be ready to acquire:

- NVCI or MANDT Training
- Class 5, BC Driver’s License
- First Aid/CPR
- Cleared Criminal Record Check
- Clearance from Physician
- Successful applicant will be required to complete MCFD HUB screen which includes a Criminal Record Check and Prior Contact with MCFD check
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered for this position.
