About the Opportunity

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Financial Officer will play a critical role in shaping business strategy, driving financial performance, and supporting continued growth. This position offers the opportunity to partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership team while overseeing all aspects of finance, accounting, reporting, planning, treasury, and risk management across a multi-entity international organization.
Position Overview The CFO will provide strategic and operational financial leadership while overseeing the company's global finance function. Acting as a trusted business partner, the successful candidate will deliver financial insights, support commercial and operational decision-making, and help drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.
The CFO will be responsible for financial stewardship, performance reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash management, risk management, internal controls, and team leadership. This individual will also provide mentorship and development to an established finance team while supporting international operations and subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Controllership
- Lead the preparation and oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Oversee accounting, costing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial controls.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements, tax reporting,
and compliance requirements.
- Present financial results and key business insights to executive leadership and ownership stakeholders.
Treasury, Administration & Risk Management
- Oversee cash management, liquidity planning, and cash flow forecasting.
- Manage relationships with external partners including banks, insurers, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead contract administration, insurance programs, trade finance, credit management, and enterprise risk initiatives.
- Maintain effective internal control frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Performance Reporting & Business Partnership
- Develop meaningful management reporting and KPI dashboards to support business objectives.
- Provide analysis on profitability, margins, operating performance, and growth initiatives.
- Partner with leaders across all functions to improve efficiency, alignment, and overall business performance.
- Support strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis and forecasting.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting and business planning process.
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts and long-range financial plans.
- Deliver actionable analysis of business performance to improve forecast accuracy and organizational decision-making.
- Act as a strategic advisor to functional leaders across the organization.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA designation required.
Experience
- 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- Strong background in financial management, business partnering, and operational finance.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or global operations is considered a strong asset.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing finance teams.
Technical Skills
- Strong ERP systems experience.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
- Experience with consolidation systems, business intelligence, and financial reporting tools.
- Deep understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
