Succulent Chocolates and Sweets is an award-winning chocolatier based in Vaughan. For over 13 years, we’ve specialized in hand-crafted chocolates and premium chocolate experiences for corporate, retail, and wholesale clients. We are a small, all-female team focused on quality, creativity, and execution.
Role Overview
Are you a passionate cook, baker, cake artist or kitchen assistant with an eye for detail and a love for chocolate? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Jr. Chocolatier (in Training) at Succulent Chocolates and Sweets. If you enjoy working in a production kitchen, multi-tasking and thrive in a small team setting, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
You will spend much of your time working in our chocolate lab, executing daily production under the guidance of our Lead Chocolatier/Production Manager. As you develop, you will be trained to assist with chocolate workshops and events, with the long-term expectation that you will support both production and events.
What You’ll Do:
Production (Primary Responsibility):
- Assist in daily chocolate production (bonbons, bars, caramels, etc.)
- Follow recipes and production SOPs with precision
- Maintain strict quality control and consistency
- Support packaging and order fulfillment
- Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe workspace
Events & Workshops (Growth Opportunity & Secondary Responsibility):
- Train alongside Lead Chocolatier at workshops and corporate events
- Assist with event setup, execution, and teardown
- Learn to guide guests through hands-on chocolate experiences
- Progress to supporting and eventually facilitating events on your own
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (required for event travel)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow exact processes
- Comfortable interacting with clients in a professional setting
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods
- Punctual, reliable, and accountable
Ideal Background
- Experience in a kitchen, bakery, pastry, or food production environment
- Chocolate experience is an asset, not required
- Customer-facing experience is an asset
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
