Join the CITY OF KENORA FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES as a Paid-Per-Call Firefighter. This entry level role provides essential training and experience in emergency response. You will have a unique opportunity to respond to critical incidents, work within a dedicated team, and utilize specialized firefighting equipment. Training is provided to ensure you develop key firefighting skills and certifications while actively contributing to your community. Key Responsibilities:

- Attend emergency incidents, including fire and rescue operations
- Operate firefighting apparatus and tools during emergencies
- Participate in recruit training to enhance skills and knowledge
- Assist with community fire prevention and education initiatives
- Maintain physical readiness for demanding fire service duties Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Unrestricted Ontario Glass “G” Driver’s License required
- Willing to complete DZ Driver’s License training
- Solid commitment to ongoing training
- Ability to remain calm in crisis situations Support public safety and community well-being as a firefighter in Kenora.
