Job Summary

We are seeking 1 Full Time Driver, with a valid Class 3 license, but preference will be given to a Class 1 Driver. Driver will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting bulk animal nutrition and other agriculture products to various Ag. customers.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate trucks to transport bulk animal nutrition and materials to various rural Ag customers locally and across Alberta
- Safely load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Report and vehicle defects, repairs or maintenance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations and all company policies
- Maintain accurate driving logs, load documents and any related reports and documentation
- Communicate effectively and regularly with dispatchers, team members and customers.

Requirements





- Valid Class 3 or Class 1 commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record (no major violations) - preference given to Class 1 License
- Proven recent experience (minimum 2 years) in commercial driving or heavy equipment operation

-Experience operating a manual transmission -Previous Agriculture experience beneficial
- Experience with Hydraulics and Augers an asset

-Knowledge and understanding of provincial and federal transportation regulations
- Able to work independently
- Physical abilities to safely perform loading and unloading of cargo, including working at heights
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic automotive repairs is advantageous
- Robust attention to detail and safety protocols

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $30.50 per hour

Experience:
