The salary range for this position is CAD $46.37 - $66.66 / hour To learn more about our MHSU programs and services, read employee insights, and current job vacancies, please visit this site: Fraser Health MHSU Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families: The Clinical Lead, Trauma and Resiliency Informed Practice (TRIP) is situated within Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) and provides clinical leadership to advance Trauma and Resiliency Informed Practice (TRIP) within MHSU programs, while supporting collaboration and knowledge sharing with other Fraser Health portfolios and partners.

The Clinical

Lead is an advocate and active role model for Trauma and Resiliency Informed Practice, supporting its integration into clinical practice expectations, staff support approaches, and quality/safety improvement activities across Fraser Health and with external partners.

The Clinical

Lead services Fraser Health broadly by supporting individuals and teams, within and across Fraser Health, through the provision of mentorship, guidance, support, and expertise in Trauma and Resiliency Informed Practice and functions as an expert and liaison in developing, monitoring and ensuring Trauma and Resiliency Informed Practice quality assurance.

The Clinical

Lead is responsible for coordinating and supervising knowledge mobilization activities; assisting in the development of policy, procedures, and guidelines related to Trauma and Resiliency Informed Practice. Functions as a strategic resource for the Mental Health &

• Substance Use and Clinical management team; and identifies and/or resolves issues encountered to ensure the new or redesigned clinical programs are ready for implementation. # and coordinates with corporate and clinical partners to ensure clinical practice, technology requirements, and privacy and security standards are met. # Participates in Trauma &

• Resilience Informed Practices communities of practice in the development,



implementation and evaluation of Trauma &

• Resilience Informed Practices standards, competencies and clinical tools consistent with professional, legal and ethical requirements. # and identifies the educational needs of staff and supports the development/delivery of Trauma &

• Resilience Informed Practice training to provide quality services to clients. # provides support to those with operational accountability in the design and/or redesign of processes, systems and tools to collect information to aid in decision making, planning and continuous improvement

• Links and networks with other publicly funded health organizations, and skilled associations to keep abreast of relevant changes and innovations. Master's degree in an applicable health or social science field such as Clinical Counselling or Social Work, including training and/or experience in counselling and education. Seven (7) years recent related clinical experience in a health care environment including five (5) years' experience responsible for managing and leading program development and/or quality improvement initiatives/projects that related to trauma informed/related practices, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring and Courageous and creates the conditions for people to succeed. Professional/Technical Capabilities Working knowledge of change methodologies and tools coupled with a strong understanding of the health care system. Knowledge of other health care disciplines and their role within the health care continuum. Ability to influence leaders,



physicians and staff at all levels to embrace and take action on change management initiatives and develop and foster partnerships. Ability to lead knowledge translation and exchange activities and projects in clinical and community settings. Advanced knowledge of trauma, trauma informed practices and strategies, stigma, health impacts, equity, and adaption strategies. Indigenous cultural safety training and/or experience, a commitment to reconciliation, and a history of creating respectful and effective relationship with Indigenous leaders, knowledge keepers, and representatives. Exceptional facilitation and coaching skills that promote wellness and safety especially in distressed work environments. Ability to develop and nurture an environment where quality improvement principles are embraced and utilized on a continuous basis. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and initiatives.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
