Join Our

Team as a Machinist at Epiroc! The Machinist is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machining equipment, including the Toshiba Boring Mill, to safely and efficiently produce high-quality components while meeting company production standards. This role works closely with fabrication, assembly, material handling, planning, and engineering teams to ensure customer and operational requirements are achieved.

Shift Timings: 1st shift with 1 openings Identify safety hazards,



recommend corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that promote a safe workplace. Review job orders and retrieve required materials from the warehouse. Operate CNC and manual machining equipment, including: Toshiba CNC Boring Mill, Haas VF-6 CNC Mill, Haas ST-35LY CNC Lathe, Manual Lathe, Drill Press, and Saw Program, edit, and/or work from programs using Mastercam.

Operate overhead cranes safely and in accordance with company safety policies and procedures. Complete and maintain production documentation to ensure jobs are processed according to company standards. Collaborate with fabrication, assembly, material handling, planning, and engineering departments to support production requirements.

Enter, track, and scan job orders within the company's computer systems as required. Support 5S initiatives, lean manufacturing programs, productivity improvements, and key performance metrics. Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations.

Attend required meetings, training programs, and safety sessions.

Journeyperson

Machinist certification (Red Seal preferred). ~ High School Diploma or GED. ~3 to 5 years of experience in a heavy equipment, manufacturing, or industrial environment. ~ Experience operating CNC machining equipment.



~ Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes. General computer proficiency. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
