About the Role

We’re looking for an intermediate content specialist, with experience working with clients in finance and markets to join our creative team building data-centric campaigns that move the needle for our clients.

You recognize the power of the written word who gets excited by the Oxford comma. You’re a teamplayer, who loves collaborating with other writers, designers, art directors, and campaign managers. You are a Google ninja who can find the best darned dataset for the job, and use AI to save time for what matters.

You have skin as thick as nagahide and constructive feedback is just the fuel you need to push a story even further. And you are unflappable under pressure—you know what I’m cooking—and thrive in a demanding production environment where a day without a deadline is like a day without sunshine.

Key Responsibilities





- Work as part of a creative team to research and develop top-tier data visualizations and campaigns for a wide variety of financial clients for publication on the Visual Capitalist web site, Voronoi app, and client channels.
- Attend briefings, production meetings, and campaign debriefs to share your insights, learn from missteps, and defend your editorial decisions.
- Participate actively in Learning Sessions, Creative Thursdays, and campaign debriefs to keep abreast of best practices, while sharing your unique insights with the team.
- Balance multiple projects and deadlines with a positive attitude and sangfroid, taking briefs from scamp to final execution on time.

Are You a Fit?

You are a fantastic fit for this role if you can identify with these traits and skills:

- Experience: 3–5 years of skilled experience in content marketing, working with finance clients; additional experience in copywriting, digital media, or agency background are definite assets.
- Writing and research: strong writing skills with the research and analytical skills to back them up; knowledge of at least one style guide and understanding of statistical methods are definite assets.
- Subject matter expertise: subject matter expertise in finance, markets, and economics, and knows where all the good data is hiding; knowledge of other domains, such as technology, geopolitics, or commodities, is a definite asset.
- Presentation and communications skills: this is a client-facing role, so the ability to persuasively present your creative vision and strategic recommendations,



while leading with a consult-first mindset is a must.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: You thrive in a fast-growing, fast-moving environment. You think beyond the brief, look for opportunities to improve processes, help build systems, standards, and ideas that move the team—and the company—forward.
- Team player: strong track-record of working as part of a creative team, including designers, strategists, and account managers; lone wolfs need not apply.
- Software proficiency: Google Office, especially in sheets, and expertise with at least one major AI model (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude); experience with collaboration platforms, such as Slack, Figma, and Monday.com considered an asset.

Compensation The approximate salary range for this position is $55–70k. Salary offers will be based on various factors, including the candidate’s level of skill, experience and education aligned with the needs of the role, budget, and market.
