Join M’Chigeeng First Nation as a Coordinator focused on developing a culturally relevant Child Well-Being Law. Play a key role in engaging community stakeholders and researching legislative frameworks. In this full time role, the Coordinator is accountable for coordinating Year 1 activities under the Child Well-Being Law Development initiative. Engage with community members to assess needs and gather data necessary for drafting policies aligned with Anishinaabe values.

Responsibilities include staff oversight and governance planning to support family wellness programs. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee project staff and support onboarding
- Develop comprehensive community engagement plans
- Conduct service gap analysis and jurisdiction scans




- Assist in drafting foundational law and policy
- Ensure compliance with financial and organizational requirements Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields, Master’s preferred
- 3-5 years' experience in project coordination
- Familiarity with Indigenous governance frameworks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Fluency in Anishinaabemowin beneficial Lead the way in ensuring that child well-being is community-driven and culturally informed at M’Chigeeng First Nation.
