Lead the charge in supporting Indigenous women as the Development Coordinator with ONWA, addressing family violence through culturally sensitive practices. Effect positive change in community service delivery. This pivotal role at the Ontario Native Women’s Association requires a dedicated individual, ideally with a background in Social Work or Indigenous Studies, and three years of project coordination experience.

You'll manage the Breaking Free from Family Violence program, ensuring vital support is provided to women navigating violence and involvement with child welfare systems, making a significant community impact. Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure effective services for Indigenous women and families
- Develop and implement program standards and guidelines




- Network with other service agencies for resource sharing
- Coordinate training workshops for staff development
- Monitor and evaluate service efficacy across the program

Requirements:

- Degree in Social Sciences or related area, or equivalent
- Proven experience in community service and project management
- Robust facilitation and communication skills
- Familiarity with issues affecting Indigenous women
- Ability to manage time and workloads efficiently
