Facility: Swift Current Admin Office Type: Casual Travel Required: Yes Coordinating the utilization of the electronic assessment system RAI-MDS (hereafter referred to as MDS) as the Screening tool for Long Term Care eligibility and placement and alternate level of care services placement in the region. Providing an effective program and continuous quality improvement and management practice to ensure efficient utilization of the system in consultation with Managers and Directors of Rural Health Services. Maintaining data integrity and data submission to the region as required.

Demonstrated experience with staff development and training. A minimum of five (5) years current experience in long term care or home care Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Valid Class 5 driver’s license Other Education and Training Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable Nursing diploma is acceptable Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable Demonstrated ability to manage resources and projects is considered an asset Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to be adaptable Ability to exercise independent nursing judgement Ability to competently use computers and software applications
