This 15-hour weekly role emphasizes collaboration and cultural enrichment. In your role as an Indigenous Student Support Worker, you will be essential in aiding the educational, social, and emotional needs of Indigenous students.
You will engage with community resources and ensure that students receive the cultural perspectives necessary for their educational journey. This position requires a proactive and supportive attitude. Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and maintain essential student records
- Liaise with Indigenous communities for support
- Organize academic support initiatives
- Attend career development as required
- Encourage cultural experiences in school activities Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Relevant experience in Indigenous environments
