You'll operate under the guidance of the Chair for Teaching Excellence and Innovation, contributing to the college's vision of reconciliation through innovative teaching strategies. Your efforts will include supporting faculty development and creating resources that promote the integration of Indigenous knowledge across programs and services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and lead workshops for faculty development • Consult with faculty on Indigenous curriculum integration • Collaborate with Indigenous community members for authentic learning experiences • Provide in-person and virtual support for teaching inquiries • Maintain engagement data to inform program effectiveness
Requirements: • Degree in Education or related field • At least three years teaching experience • Demonstrated experience in Indigenous pedagogy • Familiarity with community consultation protocols • Strong organizational and communication skills
