Overview

- Positions are available at agriculture business locations around the Camrose, AB area, and possibly at Bawlf School in Bawlf, AB (also open to students seeking part-time work).

- Hours vary daily by location: most locations start after 5:00 pm, Bawlf School starts after 4:00 pm with times varying per a set schedule, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies

- Conduct routine commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards

- Assist with basic facilities maintenance activities like replacing light bulbs, reporting repairs needed for plumbing or electrical issues,



and ensuring equipment is in good working order

- Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment and supplies, restocking materials as necessary to ensure efficient operations

- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or hazards

- Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently and thoroughly

- Document completed tasks and report any facility concerns or damages promptly to management

Skills

- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work, preferably within commercial or institutional settings

- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and the proper use of cleaning products and equipment

- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and assist with minor repairs when needed

- Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly

- Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Pay: $15.00-$23.00 per hour
