Who You Will Work
With:The Data Governance, Lead role will report to the Leader, D&A; Strategy and Advisory.What You Will Do:Lead the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating practices to support business objectives and regulatory requirements.Establish and monitor key performance and risk indicators, delivering insights and reporting that assess program maturity, compliance, data quality, and governance effectiveness.Oversee enterprise metadata management, data lineage, and data catalog capabilities to ensure critical data assets and AI/ML models are accurately documented, governed, and easily discoverable.Drive enterprise data quality initiatives by partnering with business and technical stakeholders to establish controls, monitor issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable remediation strategies.Lead data retention and lifecycle management activities, ensuring governance practices meet legal, regulatory, privacy, and risk management requirements.Partner with analytics, technology, legal, risk, compliance, and business teams to embed governance principles into projects, processes,
and decision-making across the organization.Act as a trusted advisor on data governance, helping stakeholders balance business objectives with governance, compliance, and risk considerations.Champion organizational awareness and adoption of data governance through communication, education, change management, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.What You Bring:University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Management, or a related field.5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Risk, or Compliance, with increasing responsibility.Hands‑on experience with data governance or metadata management tools (e.g., Independent, self- drivenStrong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and governance requirements.Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and drive continuous improvement.Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.in Canada in a full time capacity.What We’re Offering:The hiring range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan.
