Our oil & gas client is seeking a Data Modeler (5–7 years of experience) to design and operationalize Supply Chain data products using Databricks, Python, and PySpark
Join a Supply Chain data, innovation, and analytics team focused on delivering scalable data products and actionable insights within an oil & gas environment. This role combines data modeling, analytics, ETL/ELT pipeline development, and AI-assisted solutions to support Supply Chain operations, procurement, supplier performance, and spend analytics. The position works across enterprise platforms including Databricks, SAP, Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Dataflow, and Dataverse while supporting governed Silver and Gold data products.
Contract, Calgary/Edmonton/North York, , Hybrid (Mon, Tues, Thurs in office / Weds, Fri at home)

Must Haves
- 5–7 years in SCM or product development with oil & gas industry exposure
- Databricks, Python, PySpark, and ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing
- Machine learning, statistical analysis, predictive analysis, text analytics, and unstructured data analysis
- SAP, Oracle Cloud, SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, and Dataverse
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (SCM), Data Science, Engineering, or related field
Nice to Have
- Alteryx for data preparation and workflow automation
- Agile and waterfall methodologies
- SCM Procure-to-Pay / Source-to-Pay processes
Responsibilities
- Develop analytics solutions addressing Supply Chain business problems
- Design and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks
- Transform and model data from Oracle Cloud, SAP, ADW, Microsoft Dataflow, and Dataverse
- Build and evaluate machine learning, statistical, and AI-assisted solutions for SCM data
- Use Databricks platform capabilities including notebooks, workflows, Unity Catalog, SQL warehouses, and Lakeflow
- Maintain documentation including requirements, design documents, and status reports
- Communicate technical requirements, designs, and product details to business stakeholders
