Shape the future of dental assisting at Saskatchewan Polytechnic as an Instructor. This role combines online and in-person lab teaching, fostering student success from September to October 2026. The position is based at the Regina campus and spans a contract from September 7, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
You will engage with students, manage assignments, and ensure a hands-on learning environment. Essential skills include strong knowledge of dental practices and teaching experience, ensuring comprehensive support to learners. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update course materials and links
- Teach and demonstrate dental assisting skills
- Mark assignments and provide student feedback
- Conduct performance skill testing during labs
- Submit required paperwork for Continuing Education Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Level II Dental Assisting Program
- Current dental assisting license in Saskatchewan
- Minimum 2 years recent dental assisting experience
- Strong knowledge of dental principles and techniques
