Dental Receptionist / Chairside Assistant (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Hastings Dental Centre is a busy, well-established clinic seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Receptionist / Chairside Assistant to join our team. This is a dual-role position with equal responsibility in both front desk coordination and chairside assisting.

Job Responsibilities

This role involves a balance of administrative and clinical duties. At the front desk, you will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling and confirming appointments, managing phone communications, processing payments, and submitting insurance claims.

Chairside responsibilities include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing and organizing operatories, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring proper infection control protocols are followed.



You will play an key role in maintaining an efficient and smooth workflow throughout the clinic.

Requirements The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask and transition between clinical and administrative duties.

Previous dental experience is preferred. Experience with Tracker software is an asset.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
