Duties

- Greet patients warmly and check them in efficiently, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient flow.
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately using dental practice management software.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments while maintaining an organized calendar for the dental team.
- Handle patient check-out procedures, including billing, payment processing, and providing post-treatment instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and ensure all office supplies are stocked and accessible.




- Communicate effectively with dental staff regarding patient needs and appointment updates to ensure seamless clinic operations.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
- Demonstrated administrative experience in managing schedules, billing, and insurance verification/estimates.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience with medical office procedures or electronic medical records is highly desirable.
- Qualified demeanor with strong organizational skills and a positive attitude that fosters excellent patient relationships.
