Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $175,000.00 Annually

We are seeking a reliable and organized Design Consultant, responsible for providing a best-in-class customer experience for every Caivan Homeowner.

The Design

Consultant is accountable for the overall customer experience, relationship management and dispute resolution.

Compensation includes an hourly rate of $28.85 plus monthly added earning potential.

This above range encompasses the base rate as well as opportunity for performance-based commissions. Overall compensation varies on individual performance.

A minimum of 2+ years of experience working directly with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and support informed decisions

Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Post-secondary education in Design, Business Administration or a related field is considered an asset

About the Role

Full-time, in person - 44 hours per week

Regular weekend work is required as part of the standard schedule





Design Studio operates daily from 8:30am-8pm

Highly client-facing, with approximately 75% of the role spent directly supporting and guiding customers

In-person role within a fast-paced, customer-focused Design Studio environment

You Will Bring

Post-secondary education in Design, Business Administration or a related field is considered an asset

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position

Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel

Exceptional Skills Required

Ability to multitask and handle multiple accounts and projects at once

Solid communication skills to enhance our customer’s experience

Meticulous attention to detail, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as effectively as part of a Team

Must be highly motivated with a demonstrated track record of providing outstanding customer service

Key Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of the Design Studio, including market research, design, sales, administrative functions, customer service, etc.

Ensures that the Design Studio is well integrated into the other departments to operate efficiently and deliver on customer expectations

Hosts Design Studio open house hours, walking customers through the Studio and explaining the available options





Ensure delivery of an exceptional customer experience from first introduction to the close of the customer’s home (using the established process)

Monitors scheduling all required appointments for Customers, with assistance from the Coordinator

Manage and maintain labelling and the organization of samples in the Design Studio, as required

Assists with all administrative work in the Design Studio, and provides general support, as required

Drives and manages customer service experience as set out by Caivan’s Touchpoint map

Achieve sales targets and projections

Complete and explain Design Studio Amendments with Customers

Complete interior colour and design selections with Customers

Follow-up with customers via telephone and email

Complete Design Centre reports on a weekly basis

Liaise with Marketing and Construction departments on a continuous and consistent basis

Prepare and serve beverages & light refreshments for every visitor, creating a warm, hospitality‑driven experience

Maintain the refreshment area as a Team

Perform any other duties, as required

Extended periods at a computer may be required at times The implies the performance of repetitive tasks

Weekend and holiday work is required
