Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in cloud computing, specifically AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions. Your energetic approach will drive continuous integration and deployment pipelines, streamline system automation, and enhance our enterprise software delivery processes.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS and GCP services such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Cloud Storage, and Compute Engine.
- Automate deployment processes with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and Jenkins to ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage containerization platforms including Docker and Kubernetes to support microservices architectures and scalable applications.
- Maintain system health by monitoring performance with tools like New Relic, Splunk, and Elasticsearch; troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime.
- Implement disaster recovery strategies and ensure high availability for critical enterprise applications across hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate RESTful APIs, Web services, and enterprise middleware such as Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, and JBoss.
- Administer Linux (CentOS), UNIX systems,



and Windows Server environments; perform system testing and security hardening measures.
- Manage network configurations including TCP/IP protocols, DNS settings, firewalls, VPNs, and Active Directory integrations for identity & access management.
- Support software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities by integrating tools like GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket for version control and TFS for release management.
- Participate in incident response planning and execute troubleshooting steps to resolve complex distributed systems issues efficiently.

Key requirements:

- 7–10 years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience
- Strong hands-on AWS experience; GCP is a plus
- Terraform / CloudFormation / Ansible
- Jenkins / GitLab CI/CD / AWS CodePipeline
- Docker & Kubernetes
- Python / Bash / Go
- Strong networking, monitoring/logging and cloud security knowledge
- Senior/lead-level experience with good communication and mentoring skills
- Remote | 6 months | Immediate availability preferred
- Comfortable to work in EST time zone.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
