We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Server to join our Food Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our senior residents in a dining environment. Reporting to the Food Services Manager, you will ensure that all dining experiences are enjoyable and memorable while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

The candidate will work on an as-needed basis, with shifts generally 8 hours in length. Shifts may vary based on operational needs and may include short-notice work, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

- Serve meals and beverages promptly, ensuring that all orders are accurate.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Follow food safety and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Provide friendly, respectful, and attentive service to residents.
- Respond to resident inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.




- Work collaboratively with the Food Services team to create a positive dining experience.

Requirements

- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling is an asset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and multitask in a busy dining environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Food Safe Certification.
- First Aid Certification or willing to complete within the first 3 months.
- Transparent Criminal Record Check for Vulnerable Sector.
