Director of Corporate Development and Integration

The Opportunity The Director of Corporate Development and Integration is responsible for supporting NuVista's growth strategy through acquisitions, strategic initiatives, service expansion, and organizational integration.

Reporting directly to the CFOO, this role serves as a key partner in evaluating growth opportunities and ensuring successful execution of strategic initiatives across the organization. The Director acts as a bridge between strategy and execution, leading acquisition due diligence, integration activities, service launches, operational improvement initiatives, clinic expansion projects, and lease portfolio management.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders across Finance, Operations, Clinical Services, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Marketing to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Acquisition Integration

- Lead post-acquisition integration planning and execution.

- Develop and maintain integration workplans, milestone tracking, and governance structures.

- Coordinate integration activities across Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Marketing, and Clinical Services.

- Identify integration risks and develop mitigation plans.

- Monitor integration progress and provide regular reporting to executive leadership.

- Support the achievement of financial, operational, and cultural integration objectives.

- Drive accountability across departments to ensure successful implementation of integration initiatives.

Corporate Development and Strategic Growth

- Support acquisition sourcing, evaluation, and due diligence activities.





- Coordinate diligence workstreams across internal and external stakeholders.

- Analyze financial, operational, contractual, and strategic opportunities and risks.

- Develop business cases, financial analyses, and executive recommendations.

- Support strategic partnerships, expansion opportunities, and growth initiatives.

- Assist with transaction execution and closing activities.

- Maintain acquisition, diligence, and growth project pipelines..

New Service and Program Implementation

- Support implementation of new clinical services, programs, and operating models.

- Develop implementation plans, readiness assessments, and launch frameworks.

- Coordinate cross-functional activities required for successful launch and adoption.

- Monitor implementation performance and success metrics.

- Identify and resolve barriers impacting implementation effectiveness.

- Support standardization and scaling of new services across the organization

Operational Excellence and Workflow Improvement

- Analyze patient access, intake, scheduling, and workflow processes.

- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, utilization, patient experience, and capacity management.

- Lead process improvement initiatives and workflow optimization projects.

- Support development and implementation of standard operating procedures.

- Monitor operational performance indicators and recommend corrective actions where required.

- Partner with operational and clinical leaders to improve patient flow and service delivery

Strategic Projects

- Lead enterprise-wide initiatives and special projects assigned by the CFOO.

- Develop project charters, implementation plans, and governance frameworks.

- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.

- Prepare executive presentations, reports, and recommendations.

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational priorities.





- Support executive leadership in evaluating and executing high-priority strategic initiatives.

Real Estate, Leases, and Capital Projects

- Maintain oversight of lease agreements, renewals, critical dates, and landlord relationships.

- Support lease negotiations alongside external advisors and legal counsel.

- Evaluate expansion, relocation, and consolidation opportunities.

- Coordinate site selection and facility planning activities.

- Lead clinic openings, relocations, renovations, and expansion projects.

- Coordinate contractors, consultants, architects, landlords, and internal stakeholders.

- Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines for capital initiatives.

- Monitor project execution and ensure operational readiness of new and expanded locations.

Qualifications

- CPA designation required.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

- MBA or other advanced business credential considered an asset

- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in corporate development, transaction advisory, consulting, strategic finance, healthcare operations, business transformation, or related fields.

- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and integration activities.

- Experience leading complex cross-functional projects.

- Healthcare industry experience preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
