Join EBC as the Director of Indigenous Engagement and lead the strategy for building sustainable partnerships with Indigenous communities. This role requires strategic vision and community-oriented leadership. In this pivotal position, you will implement EBC’s national strategy on Indigenous Relations, nurturing relationships with various communities and organizations.
Your role facilitates Business Development efforts that prioritize Indigenous perspectives, ensuring impactful community engagement and support for economic participation initiatives. You will also advise the senior leadership team on critical Indigenous matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and oversee the Indigenous Relations strategy
- Collaborate on Indigenous Participation Plans
- Build trust with Indigenous Nations and communities
- Guide teams in effective community consultations
- Monitor and promote adherence to Indigenous relations commitments Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
- At least 10 years in community relations
- Experience engaging with Indigenous communities
- Robust negotiation and relationship skills
- Federal security clearance eligibility Utilize your skills to advance Indigenous relations and collaboration within EBC’s frameworks.
