Become the Senior Associate Director for Gift & Estate Planning at UBC, leading comprehensive fundraising initiatives. This role emphasizes major donor relationships and strategic planning.

As the Senior Associate Director, your key responsibility will be to drive major gift fundraising with a target of exceeding $5M in annual contributions. You will work collaboratively with university leadership and the development team to cultivate relationships and implement successful strategies. A solid emphasis on mentoring and developing staff will be vital in delivering exceptional fundraising outputs.

Key Responsibilities:



• Build and manage a portfolio of major gift donors • Conduct personal visits for donation solicitation • Develop and coordinate projects that elevate fundraising efforts • Mentor junior staff in cultivation strategies • Ensure donor stewardship and recognition are prioritized

Requirements: • Undergraduate degree in a relevant area • At least 8 years of fundraising experience • Proven major gift fundraising success • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities • Commitment to an inclusive and diverse environment
