Duties

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Assist with food handling tasks as needed to support kitchen operations and food preparation processes
- Ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning to prevent cross-contamination or damage
- Follow health and safety guidelines related to food service and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage dish flow during busy service times




- Restock supplies such as dish soap, towels, and cleaning agents to ensure smooth workflow

Experience

- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality workplace is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation practices in food service settings
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers is a plus
- Experience in food handling or food service roles demonstrates an understanding of hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
