Duties

- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations regularly
- Organize and store supplies properly to ensure easy access for the culinary team
- Support the kitchen staff during busy service times by ensuring all necessary tools and ingredients are ready




- Follow food handling safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen environment safe and eco-friendly

Skills

- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling guidelines
