As Peak continues to grow, we are looking for a full-time Dispatcher to join our operations team.

The Role As a Dispatcher, you will help coordinate the movement of our roll-off fleet throughout the Lower Mainland, including the delivery, pickup, exchange and disposal of roll-off bins.

You will be in regular communication with our customers, drivers and Operations Manager throughout the day. This is a fast-paced and highly interactive position where priorities can change quickly, so you need to be comfortable making decisions, solving problems and managing multiple requests at the same time.

Every day is different, and a great dispatcher plays a major role in keeping our customers happy and our trucks moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Communicate with customers and understand their service requirements




- Provide excellent customer service and manage customer needs and expectations
- Coordinate and optimize the daily movement of our truck fleet throughout the Lower Mainland
- Dispatch drivers for bin deliveries, pickups, exchanges and disposal trips
- Maintain clear and continuous communication with drivers throughout the day
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to adjust schedules and respond to changing priorities
- Update and maintain dispatch schedules and records
- Resolve scheduling and operational issues quickly and professionally
- Help ensure customers receive reliable, timely service

What We’re Looking For The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys a busy environment, communicates well and takes pride in getting things done.

You should have

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Robust organizational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to confidently handle a high volume of calls from customers and drivers
- Good knowledge of Vancouver and the Lower Mainland
- A customer-first attitude and an understanding of the importance of service
- The flexibility to adjust quickly when schedules or customer requirements change
- The ability to stay calm, organized and professional under pressure
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude

Previous dispatching, transportation, trucking, logistics or construction industry experience is an asset, but the right attitude, communication skills and ability to learn are equally important.
