Distribution centre manager

Education: Bachelor's degree. Asset languages: Hindi. Tamil. Work setting: Warehouse. Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre. Tasks: Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities. Evaluate the operations of facilities and the included real estate. Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate. Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs. Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff. Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Plan and manage the facility's operations budget. Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal. Resolve product and service related problems. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervision: 3-4 people. Type of industry experience: Food and beverages. Area of specialization: Shipping and receiving.
