D’s Fluff And Buff is looking to add another member to our team. I'm looking for someone who genuinely loves what they do, takes pride in their work and wants to be apart of a friendly, qualified grooming environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences
- Ensure each pet’s safety and comfort throughout the grooming process by handling them gently and securely
- Maintain a clean, organized grooming station to promote hygiene and efficiency
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare advice
- Assist with handling heavy lifting tasks such as moving large or heavy dogs safely and responsibly
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, scheduling appointments, and fostering positive relationships
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent injuries to pets, staff, and yourself during grooming procedures
Qualifications
- Prior experience in dog grooming or schooling 1-2 years preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when necessary, especially with larger breeds of dogs
- Compassionate attitude towards animals combined with patience and attention to detail
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks for extended periods during grooming sessions
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their health and happiness
- Reliable, responsible and able to work independently.
Join us in creating joyful experiences for pets and their owners! This would be a commission based grooming position. You would be responsible for building and managing your own clientele, scheduling your own appointments, communicating with your clients and managing your own day to day schedule. You will have independence of running your own grooming clientele while being apart of the team.
Pay: $15.00-$200.00 per day
