Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and promoting a love for learning. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a genuine interest in early childhood education.

Bilingual abilities, particularly in English and French, as well as experience working with children with disabilities or in special education settings, are highly valued. Duties

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and individual student needs.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and active participation.
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and positive reinforcement.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities, share best practices, and ensure consistency in teaching approaches.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports.
- Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communicating with families.
- Manage classroom behavior using effective leadership and organizational skills to promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education best practices.

Requirements

- Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting; classroom experience is preferred.




- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in French is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development theories.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education programs is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively within a dynamic classroom environment.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in computer operation for documentation, lesson planning, and communication purposes.
- Exceptional writing skills for report writing and documentation purposes.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and needs.
