Perform non-invasive para-medical functions (i.e. stoma care, seizure care, in-lying catheterization care) under the direction of parents, guardians and medical personnel. Utilize adaptive technology, adaptive devices, and augmentative communication devices under the direction of a Speech Language Pathologist or other professional staff. Qualifications:



A minimum of Grade 12 diploma from a recognized educational institution as approved by the Board of Education or General Educational Development (GED) A minimum of one (1) year post-secondary training related to student needs such as Educational Assistant, Early Childhood Development, Youth Worker or Rehabilitation Worker (such training must be from a recognized educational institution as approved by the Employer) NVCI and TLR training if required A minimum of two (2) years experience in providing direct personal care A valid Class 5 drivers license Wage &

Perks: In accordance with the current CUPE Local 5512 Collective Bargaining Agreement. Currently, this is a range of $23.97 to $29.09 per hour.
