Position Summary:

The Education Generalist supports curriculum development, course delivery, and instructional quality across academic programs. This role contributes to curriculum and syllabus development, enhancement of teaching and learning practices, and short-term instructional coverage when required.

The Education Generalist works collaboratively with Deans, Associate Deans, Program Managers, and faculty to strengthen curriculum delivery and learner outcomes. This position does not hold academic approval authority but supports implementation, consistency, and continuous improvement of approved curricula and instructional practices.

Qualifications:

Degree in Education or a related field; master’s degree is an asset.

Experience in curriculum development, instructional support, or post-secondary teaching.





Ability to teach or substitute teach across a range of subject areas, as qualified.

Solid understanding of instructional design and learner-centered pedagogy.

Familiarity with Indigenous education contexts and culturally responsive teaching practices.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Terms:

Appointment may require a criminal record check; results may affect final offer of employment.

Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required for programming or events.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm-35 hours per week, possibility of evening and weekend shifts

Salary: $41.66/hr.
