Educator - Cannabis Retail Job Summary: The Educator is exceptional at creating intentional, educational customer experiences and creating community by developing authentic relationships with our customers, determining their needs, and providing knowledgeable suggestions tailored to each individual.

Educator Responsibilities:

- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and approachable manner, providing accurate information on cannabis strains, products, consumption methods, and their effects
- Offer tailored recommendations based on customer preferences or recreational goals, ensuring a personalized experience
- Assist with daily store operations, including cleaning, organizing, restocking, merchandising, and opening/closing duties.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment




- Adhere to all company training and operational standards and procedures (education, merchandising, cleanliness, security, checklists, etc)
- Ensure you are aware of all company communication, rollouts, directives and procedures
- Abide by all company policies and programs, ensuring compliance.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable cannabis retail legislation and requirements at the federal, provincial, and municipal levels.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Key Holders

Local Delivery Responsibilities: Plant Republic Pape offers a local cannabis delivery service using a company-owned electric scooter. As part of this position, employees may be required to complete customer deliveries throughout the surrounding neighbourhood.

- Candidates must be comfortable operating an electric scooter and making local deliveries.
- Deliveries will be completed using the company's electric scooter; employees are not required to use their personal vehicle.
- Employees must follow all company delivery procedures, safety requirements, and applicable cannabis delivery regulations.
- A company delivery waiver must be reviewed and signed before an employee can operate the electric scooter for deliveries.




- Employees are expected to use the scooter responsibly and follow all applicable traffic and safety laws.
- Employees must not operate the scooter or complete deliveries while impaired.

Qualifications & Skills:

- CannSell Certification (Required)
- 19+ Years old (Required)
- Deep understanding of cannabis products, consumption methods, and effects, with a genuine passion for educating others about cannabis
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in an easy-to-understand and engaging manner
- Comfortable speaking in front of small groups or one-on-one with customers
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing a welcoming, informative, and positive experience
- Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
- Comfortable operating a company-owned electric scooter and completing local neighbourhood deliveries.
- Retail or customer service experience is an asset.

*Please Note: At this time we currently have 1-2 shifts per week to offer, during different periods hours may be more or less.Must have weekend and evening availability*

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
