The City of Vancouver is seeking a skilled Electrical Inspector to perform plan checking and inspections of electrical and fire protection/life-safety systems. You will review drawings for compliance with electrical codes and bylaws, and issue permits with sound technical judgement. You will collaborate with engineers, designers and contractors, provide technical clarifications on site, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure life safety standards are met.
