BettingJobs is hiring a Senior Software Engineer a global leader in online gaming, to join a recent backend engineering team in Toronto.

Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance .NET backend services Build and manage real-time data pipelines and integrations. Extend legacy systems to ensure stability and backward compatibility. Diagnose and resolve production issues Oversee the deployment lifecycle and CI/CD processes.

Requirements: ~5+ years of .NET development experience. ~ Strong background in distributed systems and microservices ~ Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka), REST APIs, gRPC, or WebSockets ~ Proficiency with Redis, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred) ~ Skilled with observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana) ~ Comfortable with complex business logic and high ownership roles ~ Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience Bonus: Experience with financial/trading domains, test automation, GitOps/CD tools, or actor model frameworks.
