We are looking for a Senior Driller with Environmental and Geotechnical experience to join our established crews.

MAIN DUTIES: NO AGENCIES

· Drive and operate truck/track-mounted auger drilling rigs and other equipment to drill boreholes and sample soil for environmental and geotechnical assessments on residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural properties, and install monitoring well screens, casings and other well fixtures. Experience with CME75, D50 track and truck, Geoprobe 7822. 420M, beaver, pionjar, rock coring, mud rotary, air rotary.

· Provide other drilling services, such as repair or decommissioning of existing well structure, preparation of drilling mud, core hole drilling, clean-up and disposal of excess drilled materials. Write up well records and drill reports.

· Enforce health and safety regulations.

· Document on well records the encountered soil types and wells locations.

· Clean, develop and maintain monitoring wells in preparation for sampling or testing.

· Install piping systems and equipment,



and assist in performing pumping tests to assess well performance.

· Perform routine mechanical maintenance work on drilling rigs and equipment.

· Supervise and work with an assistant well driller, while conducting the job.

· Interact with and follow directions from geologists, engineers, consultants, landholders and others involved in drilling projects.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Perform physical labor in all sorts of weather, wearing protective equipment.

· Lift and handle heavy equipment associated with the job.

· Some noise and vibration may require the use of ear plugs and other related safety devices.

· The number of working hours depends on the completion times, minimum 40 hours per week. The hours may be irregular because of job requirements.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $34.00-$37.00 per hour
