EPSY 400 – Working with Difference & Diversity
This course focuses on understanding the construct of “disability”. We will look at the writings of people with disabilities and use their self-accounts to develop a cultural understanding of disability. With this information in mind, the course concentrates on methods of working with students whose performance differs from the established norm.
This course is restricted to students in the YNTEP and BEAD programs.

This course is part of the University of Regina’s Faculty of Education Bachelor of Education YNTEP Program offered in Whitehorse, YT.
Position Requirements
Normally it is preferred that applicants will have a Master of Education degree appropriate to the area of instruction. Applicants should also have experience in the education system appropriate to the content of the course applied for, knowledge of, and experience with the British Columbia curriculum, knowledge and experience with Faculty of Education programs, and current knowledge of issues related to the course for which the applicant has applied. Applicants should also have knowledge of, and experience in educational psychology and/or inclusive education, through research, teaching, and other scholarly experience.
University teaching experience is an asset. Preference may be given to local candidates.
