Phoenix Industrial Group of Companies
Edmonton
Phoenix Industrial Group is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our estimating function supporting heavy industrial fabrication, modularization, maintenance and field construction opportunities. We're looking for a hands-on estimating leader with a strong foundation in heavy industrial construction and fabrication who understands how complex, multidisciplinary work is scoped, priced, challenged and ultimately executed. The ideal candidate brings extensive estimating experience across mechanical, piping and structural scopes, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary bids involving fabrication, modularization, field construction and subcontracted work.
Electrical and instrumentation estimating experience is considered an asset.
Experience working with or bidding work for major oil and gas owners and operators such as Cenovus, Canadian Natural Resources (CNRL), Imperial Oil (IOL), Suncor, or similar organizations is highly valued. This isn't a role focused solely on managing the estimating department. You'll remain close to the work, reviewing and challenging estimates, identifying gaps and risk, guiding bid strategy and ensuring our estimates reflect how the work will actually be fabricated and constructed.
