Position Overview

As an Event Security Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests, staff, and performers at a variety of events, including concerts, festivals, sporting events, and private functions.



This position requires robust situational awareness, professionalism, and the ability to manage large crowds in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to control entry and verify credentials
- Conduct proactive patrols throughout event venues
- Manage crowd flow and respond to disturbances or safety concerns
- Provide high-level customer service while maintaining a safe environment
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and guest inquiries
- Work collaboratively with event staff, Police, EMS, and Fire Services
- Enforce event policies, venue rules, and applicable legislation
- Exercise lawful authority, including removal of individuals when necessary

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Excellent observational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in event security, crowd control, or high-risk environments is an asset
