OneWest Events is looking for an Operations Lead to join our team!

The Operations Lead is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading event crews, coordinating onsite logistics, and ensuring our standards for quality, safety, teamwork and client care are met. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently lead a team, solve problems in real time and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

What You'll Do

- Lead small to medium-sized event setups and tear downs, directing crews and managing the flow of work.
- Execute event plans while adapting to changing timelines, priorities, and onsite needs.
- Assign tasks, manage resources, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to OneWest standards.
- Act as an onsite point of contact for clients, venues, vendors and Project Managers.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and make confident, solution-focused decisions in real time.
- Lead, coach and support crew members while promoting a positive and accountable team environment.
- Communicate important event updates and changes to the Project Management and Operations teams.
- Identify and address safety hazards while promoting safe work practices onsite.
- Complete post-event reporting and provide feedback to help improve future events.

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of experience in event operations, hospitality management or a similar field.
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.




- Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead a team while also supporting Project Managers and other leaders when required.
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments with changing priorities.
- A positive, professional and team-oriented approach with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to lift and move up to 40lbs
- Availibility to work evenings, weekends and non-traditional hours based on event schedules.
- Reliable transportation to and from event sites.

Job Type: Permanent Salary: $21.00 - $24.00 /hour, depending on experience

Job Types: Casual, Permanent, Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 44.0 per week
