Strategic Learning Clinic is looking for a passionate and dedicated Executive Function Coach who has completed a Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field and who brings strong, relevant experience coaching executive function skills. Sessions are taught both virtually and at the Clinic in Montreal, and you must be able to do both. Please do not apply if you do not live in Montreal and are not able to coach in person.

You must be able to coach in French as well as English.

The pay is amongst the highest in the industry for 1-on-1 coaching and will offer the coach an exciting window into the latest diagnostic tools and programs. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Function Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in supporting students with planning, organization, time management, task initiation, and self-regulation, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.

We are looking for an individual who is organized, patient, and able to motivate students to achieve their goals. Your energetic approach will inspire confidence and foster independence, helping students unlock their full potential both academically and personally. For more than 37 years, Strategic Learning Clinic has helped students remove the pebble in the shoe that keeps them from learning independently. This role sits right at the centre of that work, coaching students directly on the executive function skills that let everything else click into place.

Duties

- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with students to strengthen executive functioning skills




- Develop personalized strategies and routines that support goal-setting and task completion
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and caregivers to monitor progress and adjust coaching plans as needed
- Use evidence-based techniques to improve organizational skills, time management, memory, and self-control
- Provide clear instructions and feedback to motivate students and build their confidence
- Track student progress through detailed documentation and regular updates
- Create engaging activities that make learning executive functioning skills enjoyable and accessible

Skills

- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching children in academic or skill-building settings
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey strategies and provide constructive feedback
- Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds and learning styles
- Classroom experience that demonstrates ability to manage groups or individual sessions confidently
- Knowledge of executive functioning concepts and practical techniques for skill development
- Ability to build rapport quickly and foster a positive learning environment
- Enthusiasm for empowering students to become independent learners through energetic and motivating coaching methods

Vous devez être en mesure d'accompagner les élèves autant en français qu'en anglais.

La rémunération figure parmi les plus élevées de l'industrie pour de l'accompagnement individuel, et permettra au coach de découvrir les plus récents outils et programmes diagnostiques. Nous sommes à la recherche d'un coach en fonctions exécutives, expérimenté(e) et passionné(e), pour se joindre à notre équipe. Le candidat ou la candidate idéal(e) possédera une expérience en accompagnement d'élèves sur le plan de la planification, de l'organisation, de la gestion du temps, de l'amorce des tâches et de l'autorégulation, ainsi qu'une passion pour aider les élèves à atteindre leur plein potentiel.

Depuis plus de 37 ans, la Clinique d'apprentissage stratégique aide les élèves à se départir du petit caillou dans le soulier qui les empêche d'apprendre de façon autonome. Ce rôle est au cœur de cette mission, en accompagnant directement les élèves dans le développement des compétences en fonctions exécutives qui permettent à tout le reste de se mettre en place.
