Experienced Panel Builder – Full-Time

Pay: $23.00–$27.00 per hour, based on experience

CAP Building Systems is looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Panel Builder to join our growing team.

This is a full-time day-shift position for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys working with their hands, and wants the opportunity to expand their skills across multiple areas of manufacturing.

Position Overview As a Panel Builder, you will be responsible for assembling and building architectural panels and related components according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in panel building, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or a similar hands-on trade and be comfortable working with tools, measuring equipment, and shop equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and assemble panels and components according to drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret shop drawings and measurements
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Measure, cut, assemble, and prepare materials
- Ensure finished products meet quality and dimensional requirements
- Inspect work throughout the production process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with other members of the production team
- Assist with other manufacturing tasks as required




- Participate in cross-training opportunities throughout the shop
- Work overtime when required to meet production and customer deadlines

Qualifications

- Previous experience in panel building, fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or a related trade
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and solid work ethic
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials as required
